Our Story

Custom Mix Concrete has been serving the Southern Tier of New York and the Northern Tier of Pennsylvania since 1988.

 

Founded by father and son, Lemuel and John Pipher with a single mobile mixer, the company has grown into a fleet of more than 30 trucks with four locations across the region.

After Lem’s retirement, John and his wife, Joan, have continue to lead and grow the company as co-owners and operators. Today, the next generation- Mike, Kim, and Trisha are also active in day-to-day operations.

As a family-owned and locally-operated business for over 35 years, we remain committed to the communities we serve and the relationships we’ve built throughout the Twin Tiers.
